Default cms stage 3 blower cams

i was just wondering if they were to big for the street, or is it all in the tune to make it streetable.

is this a cammer motor or is it a push rodmotor? What heads you running if its a push rod motor. I am not real up on the cammers but they sound a bit big if it is a cammer to me.

Try posting this up in the 4.6 General Discussion section. Chances are you'll get alot more answers alot faster, and there's alot of really good guys to talk to about potent mod motors.

I am willing to bet that it is too much cam for your goals. Try something in the range of a 215/225 115.That would give you more usable power with out having to spin the motor to the moon.

Just give Cushman a call. They can tell you if it will work for your setup or if its too much. As far as idle and all that you'd be fine on the street since blower cams have a much less agressive idle than N/A cams. I know other companies that offer stage 3 cams often say they require your engine to be bored .030 over. You'll definitely need new valve springs and those cams would probably be a waste without ported heads. You can also try PMing 10"Terror, he is the owner/operator or whatever of Cushman Motorsports.

it's all in the tune. i had stage 3s on my car when i had it and it was fine. very aggressive but very tolerable.
