I can get both new for under 2K.Which one would be the better option? I don't have $3500 to spend. I can get away with $1900 on my Summitt Racing Card. Plus I hear not to run over 7 psi with a "stock" motor. What type of gains can I expect with 5 or 6 psi of boost? Worth the money??? </P>

i might go with the vortech, only because they list what it comes with and powerdyne doesnt.</P>

powerdyne is smaller. vortech is bigger but is known to be more reliable.

both are good but don't buy from summit you'll pay..I think the vortech has a rebate thing going on like 100.00 or so..if you use good oil you could get 50k miles out of it on the other 5 psi is 45-70 hp depends on your mods better intake and exhaust flow more hp. would I pay 2k for that lil hp..no unless later your plan is to upgrade to run 10psi
