as it would appear when i was running my 100shot with low timing, i was just fine.

when i bumped the timing to where it should have been the hole time it "blew"

im down to the head bolts, and the heads will be off, so here in about an hour, ill have em off and see if theres any damage there, but im guessing theres gonna be no sign of anything wrong under there.

my intake gasket was blown in 3 places, and the lower intake gasket was a cheap cork gasket with TONS and TONS of RTV gasket sealer, i know your sapposed to put a "think bead" but who ever put this on, put way to much.

so my guess is the extra pressure from the timing just poped the intake gasket, poped a hole in the side of the vacuum tree too!

parts are on the way, car should be back together in 2wks.

thx for asking, and good luck with yours!

my advice would be not to be scared of the juice, maybe if its your daily driver, i have 2 other vehicles so i dont need to worry about the mustang being down for a mth.

put your base timing a 8*, run highest pump octane you can get, get 1-2 step colder plugs (1 should be fine) upgrade your fuel pump (welbro 190pump is fine) make sure your fuel filter is pretty new, and SPRAY IT FOR 100!!

thats my video of me spraying 100shot with 0* - +2* base timing.

sorry for the side track of your thread OP

i think that you are talking about a window switch. its not a switch hooked to the windows it hooks to a coil and reads the rpms. You set it to come on at a certain rpm. and the switch that goes to the pedal really goes on the throttle body and tells the system when you are at wot

what happens when you run your 87 octane fuel, but your running 93octane and spraying? is it leaner or something?
No the 87 tune just doesnt advance the timing like the 93 tune.

worried about traction in first is the only reason that i dont spray in 1st it is hard enough to gas it hard at the top of first with no spay and to keep traction but i do have crappy tires and not much as far as suspension mods
