Economical, safe power boost modifications??
I just bought a '08 Mustang V-8 with the standard motor. What do you think are the best, safe, economical power boost modifications?? I know about Chevy small block and diesel mods, but I'm green in what you guys are doing with Mustangs.
Tuners?
Cold Air intake?
?????
Suggestions please? Remember I'm green and need details!

There isn't a whole lot you can do cheaply to that car to really get too much more power out of it. They respond very well to cams, superchargers, and turbos, but aren't economical to say the least.
It looks like you're on the right track though. A good tune, cold air intake, and free flowing exhaust is a good start for that car.

well since you have a 3v your in a good position, exhaust, cams and agressive headwork can get you 100 more hp if not more. But the best hp per dolla is forced induction, your engine can make 450 rwhp fairly safely w/ FI. There are alot of nice pre-fab turbo kits for your year, I would do that and tune it to put about 380 whp or so - it should last you a long while and be alot of fun (450+ rwtq)

also look into gears. they dont add any hp or trq but they do make it faster. probably the biggest diffrence you will feel for under $200 is gears. also look into nitrous i got mine for $150 thats not bad for 100hp. and intake and exhaust are always a good pleace to start. other mods are nothing if it cant breath. and exhaust sounds awsome
