i put a new purge valve on my car and for some reason everytime i hit the purge, it blows my 30amp fuse???? the bottle warmer and nitrous arming switch work fine???? maybe i should try a 35amp??? any suggestions

i have mine on a 20 with a nx lightning solinoid (sp) double check your wires you can try a 35 and if it is a dead short i think that it should still blow it but i would not go much over that i am not sure what the solinoid is rated at but i dont want you to cook it. Find out what it is rated for and add about 15%.
