Default v6 Exhaust Upgrades with Supercharger.

Hey awesome website LOVE IT!!. Nyhow been doing some research over the past few months and have gathered most of my parts cheap ( M90 charger, t bird 5 spd computer injectors pipeing intercooler( ya i know its useless) and i plan on running one from a Nissan off ebay thats much larger.... so ya doing this on a budget I have ( 1994 Mustang Never seen a winter 3.8L v6) car is in immaculate condition, I already own and built an 1988 Ranger with an Modded 5.0L v8 .. so no didnt want to do the swap + i wanted this car street legal and able to pass emissions ( unlike the ranger were it only gets driven to the track with a dealer plate from work LOL..

Nyhow onto the exhaust part.. I hear the stock mustang v6 exhaust with an supercharger doesnt work well... I was looking at those $100 kits on ebay were it allows you to run a v8 exhaust ( dual set-up) Ya summit sells nice mustang exhaust.. But couldnt i get away with something a bit different like were the 2 dual into one could i drop it off there and step it up to a single 2.5 or even a 3" and fun a flow master muffler single out the back??? or whats my best options so i dont higher my chances of head gasket problems and at the same time.. letting the more air being forced in to be pushed out.....

thanks
dave

Are you swapping just the blower? Its a huge headache but I'm sure your prepared for it!

Anyway you should do a set of long tube headers and a true dual exhaust system.

Default Nope..

I actually got EVERYTHING I need right off an 1993 T Bird includeing the 5 spd computer. I'm ditching the stock intercooler because its useless!!. going with a larger one i purchased off ebay,

what headaches are you talking about? as for the exhaust whats my best option single 3" or do that cut out set up and run a stock GT dual exhaust?

thanks
Dave

If single is a must, go a least 3 1/2".
Dual 2 1/2" is much better for a boosted six.
