i have MAC short tube headers, MAC H pipe, MAC duals. i LOVE it. sounds very tuned, although not super loud. just about perfect IMO.

I had MAC longtubes, Dr Gas X-pipe, and MAC cat-back. Sounded awesome and got tons of compliments because it was different than the usual flowmasters. Nice and deep at idle, then screams above 3k rpm.

Had to get rid of the longtubes and X to make room for the turbo stuff. Still sounds good, but a different kind of good. Can't get enough of that woosh.

I'd like to add: while Flowmasters generally sound awesome on any V8, they're not a huge improvement in flow over the stock mufflers. Their flow rates really don't compare to a lot of other performance mufflers.

Magnaflow is a good choice, and I've heard good things about Summit Turbo mufflers for bang-for-the-buck.

Glasspacks will sound good and be loud, but they actually tend to flow worse than stock mufflers! If you want that kind of straight through muffler, find one with a perforated core, not a louvered core. Look down the muffler - does it have little tangs of metal sticking up into the flow pathway? It's the louvered type, and for performance applications it's junk.
