Supercharger question
I have a non intercooled vortech v-2 supercharger on my 05 gt, It makes about 390 horse at the wheels, and im looking for more.
My question is Is it worth it to sell this kit, and buy the kenne bell? I also have a spare vortech, which i could sell and use the money to install an intercooler, which would be less of a headache then trying to sell both.
I've noticed that my power really only starts at about 4500 rpm, and I have read that the twin screw has a more constant power delivery.
Would the gains of the Kenne Bell be that much greater then Intercooling the vortech?

The gains would be as great as you want them to be. Simply put, a KB would start boost lower in the RPM Range but max HP would be similar. This is good if you are racing from a roll but generally from a dig not preferred, all opinion of course. Your V2 is good up to ~600hp if I remember, just change out the pulley to up the boost, intercooling or meth injection is key however if you going that route to avoid grenading your stock motor.
Im curious though, are you getting 390rwhp with or without the juice? I figure on the juice you'd be close to 500 !

Well I already have a meth injection kit i can use, and yeah i would love to make better power in low rpm, because of the smaller engine it is pretty slugish from 2000-4500.
My power numbers are 390 at the wheels, in calgary which is high elevation. On that particular dyno A stock 06 GT made 230 at the wheels, So that should put my crank power at around 500..
I don't use the juice at all because my tuner said with running 11.5 psi already it might be dangerous. and i dont have the dough for a new block..
I have 410's in the car aswell, and i've notices that the car falls off alot after second gear, An intercooler should help this problem, but would the kenne bell be stronger here aswell because of the power in the lower rpms?
