I have a 1998 sixer with a generic brand glasspack on, so its much higher quality than say a cherrybomb.
BUT someone said i should cut of my piping back to the muffler and just get a turn down on it and it should be much louder
So far no one said it wouldnt be louder but my dad seems to think it will make the cab of the car reek of fumes and smoke me out of the car. what do you guys think??

You will smell more fumes in the car. It will be more quiet outside the car with a turndown and louder inside.
