Default SLP hangin' low

I finally got my catted x-pipe and LM2's installed on my '04 GT and I love the sound but I never expected the x-pipe would hang as low as it does. It hangs much lower than the stock h-pipe and even with the stock springs I'm afraid to go over any speed bumps now. I knew it would hang lower than stock but do they typically hang low enough to cause concern? One of my next mods was going to be the steeda springs but I'm afraid to bring the pipes any closer to the ground than they already are. I haven't taken the time to actually measure how far they are from actually hitting the ground but it looks as though the entire midpipe is below the bottom of the side skirts of the car. Any input on whether or not it's normal for them to be that low would be appreciated.

You need to push up on it when you tighten it or it will hang low.I put a jack under it and push it all the way up then tighten it it will make a big difference.

The SLP x hangs lower than other x's, there's nothing you can do about it I already tried. Just be careful when going over bumps.

I have found that SLP has the worst clearance on any of their exhuast parts, take a look at some thir f-body headers, they hang WAY too low.
