Default blow through maf??

I have recently installed a vortech v1 supercharger w/ a treadstone air-air intercooler. I currently have a 90mm ford lightening MAF draw thru, and was wondering if theres ways around installing a blow of valve that vents to the atmosphere without swappin out the draw thru for a blow thru

you could vent to atmosphere but every time it blows off your motor will go pig rich (not recommended). in order for the motor to run correctly, if you vent to atmosphere you need a blow through maf

do yourself a favor and ditch the lightning MAF- draw through setup and get yourself a PMAS blow-through MAF. Your car will run MUCH smoother and you can run whatever bypass/blow off valve you feel like. Trust me, when i first put my vortech on w/o an intercooler the draw through and 90mm maf setup worked GREAT. but after the intercooler everything went to hell and the MAF pegged at 400 rwhp and the car ran very rough and with a bad idle. Switched to blow through and OMG what a difference!!

Yeah, I run a P-mas blow thru, Much better than a draw though for sure. My car ran so much better after switching over.

how many times are you going to ask this question?

and you can vent to atmostphere as long as the vent is BEFORE the maf
