Default vortech dyno numbers and help

well its it installed but what crazy is that the dyno said 8.67 psi but the auto meter gauge only puts out 5 psi at best at wot. i told gtr safe tune... i have the parts to hit 380 plus but since my motor is 100,000 plus i wanted it safe. i have the power pipe the extra small pullie i didnt install that but yea. Also do you guys get alot of back pressure out of the exhaust. i dont have a brand exhaust its custom lol na just removed the muffers and add x pipe. it seems to back fire if i lift off the throttle in every gear except 5th. the dyno read only 340 to the wheels at 8 psi

Frostbitten is right on. I had GTR install the v3 and the gauges. My boost gauge never tipped past vac. I took it into Ricardo and there was a kink in the line. After 15 min all was well. I also have the autometer mech vac/boost--GTR will fix it in no time.

To get those numbers, the 8.67 is right, the gauge is wrong. 340hp on 5 psi would be impressive to say the least.

thanks alot yea am pretty sure something is pinched or something but yea sorry to change the subject but i see that you are running the same setup have you put it down the 8th mile and the only reason i say the 8th is because i just embarrased myself at irwindale. the best 8th i got was a 9.3 but i started at 10.5 lol i know but i was taking it easy just because the car was driving alday and the clutch was really hot because when i was burning out it felt like the clutch never came up. i only ran 3 times but every time i cut .4 off the time. Also the clutch is stock and not wore but half way there. it doesnt hold coming out of 2nd. this was my very first time even running on a drag strip. So what time would you say i should be putting up with 340. i have nitto 555r not the extreme..... also have a pro 5.0 shifter with stock gears. stock suspension.
