make sure it includes the intake manifold, otherwise it wont bolt up. make sure it spins freely without making grotesque(sp?) noises.

check for play in the parts. if the pulley or internal parts slide forward and back thats not good. also look for knicks in the blades

I just talked to the guy. Its actually an eaton m90 supercharger. he says it has everything i need except the pulley for a grand. is this a good deal? are Eaton S/C's reliable. Im planing on putting it on my STOCK 97 gt convertible. what kinda power would it make.

uh... m90? i thought they came with m112's? m90 is kinda small?

does it have the intake manifold as well?? if its just the blower, then you wont be able to put it on? also, is it intercooled? (intercooler will be a water/air intercooler like in a cobra, inside the manifold)

problem with eatons is that they heat up easily. i think you'd be better off with a vortech. you would also need injectors, maf calibrated, fuel pump, tune, etc etc to get it to work, well, without blowing up your engine.

I would walk away from that and find a better fit for your car.

that is the gen1 saleen supercharger that came stock on the earlier s281 supercharged models. It is not very efficient compared to larger blowers or twin screws. The most I have seen someone get out of one was under 400whp. I believe the stock saleen made just around 330whp. If you arent looking for huge power then its a great deal. Otherwise its just a waste of money. Its not an M112 like the cobra supercharger, it is a smaller unit
