Hey, try going to Youtube and checking out some vids of different exhaust types. It helped me a lot when I was trying to decide what catback to go with. Oh and you can't beat FLOWS!

I have the 44 series Flowmasters on my '95 GT Mustang and I get more compliments on the grumble; they sound awesome when I downshift too...it doesn't drone as much as the 40 series, IMHO...
What mid-pipe do you have on the car?
If you have an o/r X pipe, "I" would not put the Flowmasters on it. An o/r X-pipe with a chambered muffler will have a high probability of resonating and droning. A straight thru muffler will not tend to do this.
I personally like the MAC Pro-Chamber mid-pipe and 2 chamber Flowmasters.

I totally agree! OP, you need to base your decision on what makes sense with your entire exhaust setup...not just the catback alone. It is hard to beat flows with an o/r h though.

I have 40-series dual chamber flows and I love the sound, but I am now running a turbo so I'm going to change over to a non-chambered muffler like the dynomax ultra flo welded mufflers. If you are running NA, Id say go with the flows, if you are running any sort of forced induction, I'd say go with a non-chambered muffler.
+1. I do get a soft back-rap from time to time, but its rare... and I actually kinda like it.

I bought a set of polished magnaflo axle backs the day after I bought my car for $500 and took them off the next day and replaced them with a pair of $250 flows with resonator tips.....(bast***s wouldnt take back the magnas)
The magnaflows sounded only a wee bit deeper that the stock and the flows sound with athority...best buy
If you live in a big enough city just pan out and find one that you like the sound of and ask. that's what I did.
