slp exhaust question.
i got a 03 marauder and cant pick which muffler i want to get...slp lm 1's or super 44's...alot of mustang guys have them and r familiar with lm's and i only heard it on a hemi 300c and youtube.lol...it sounds badass and then it sounds iffy to me...but dam near everyone who has it on there car raves about it so i wanted to see about your input on the matter...i would like the deep sound of flows with the raw/muscule sound of lm's...

You could try single chambered flows. It would still have the flowmaster sound, but more loud and raw like lm 1's.
It also depends on the rest of your exhaust. Do you have aftermarket headers and a mid pipe? If not do you plan on it?
Sometimes what sounds good as a catback only can sound like crap with different mid pipes and headers.

With a full exhaust setup, I would go with the LM2's. That is from personal experience. I loved my LM1's as a catback, then as mrt said, I stuck a o/r h on it and i hated it, but wanted to run a o/r pipe, so I went with 2's. I love the sound again. LT's will increase the sound as will a hi-flow x. So, in order to keep the dB's tolerable, I would go with 2's. Just my

I love my LM1s, I have the SLP catted X as well, stock manifolds though. If you run a catted x, def. get the LM1s. You won't regret it. The great thing though, is if you do, you can EASILY swap out to the LM2s and sell the LM1s.
