Default Vortech V2 rebuild question

So i bought a used head unit in the hopes of going for the $1500 supercharger kit. I got the head unit today and i knew the guy that had it killed the impeller but didnt know how bad the rest of the charger was. I am going to rebuild all the bearings and seals but the problem is that the gear/shaft that is attached to the impeller the gear looks pretty stripped down like the bearings let go in it and he kept running it. so is that the input shaft or the output shaft? common sense says output but id rather check before i get too carried away!

thanks

I'd check with vortech - but i think once its that far gone - its pretty much junk. A new impeller is expensive....

Sounds to me like you'll have more in parts than its worth .....

oh and for your question - i'd check with them too ... Its easy to call the tech line and they're pretty nice there.
