Default Need help with turbo specs

Just picked up a Garret turbo in a trade and need a little help with the specs. I am a noob when it comes to turbos so please bear with the terminology. On the "non-exhaust" side, it reads a/r .95 AiResearch M24. On the exhaust side it reads Garret M1 on the outside and M1 a/r .96 on the inside. On the plaque it says Garrett Honeywell p/n 408140-5001. If anybody could help out on the specs.. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

That's a pretty big one. Looks like a 70mm or slightly bigger, T6 exhaust. Looks like a higher pr turbo, i'm guessing from a diesel? I'll check & see if I have the part number when I get home.

Garret TH08A64
74mm Turbine
T6 Flange
.96 A/R Exhaust Housing
.95 A/R Compressor Housing

That's a bit on the big side for a stock or near stock 4.6. Not the ideal compressor side either.

I traded for this to sell actually, easier to sell this than the part I traded.

http://www.powertechnologies-turbo.c...ochargers.html
for an idea.

I don't know how well it will sell due to the size not being too efficient for 98% of the cars out there. By the trim & a/r it looks like this turbo was designed to run efficiently at high psi on a pretty big engine. An industrial diesel engine comes to mind. It does have a rather nice turbine outlet design though. I wanted to try to machine an outlet like that on my twin scroll one.
