Default LT Headers

hey guys Im looking at LT headers, so many to choose from.. wondering what insight everyone has into LT's and Xpipes vs Hpipes? Not looking to spend more than about 500 on the headers and 200 or so on the mid pipe. the bbk was about as expensive as i want to go. I understand that theres issues fitting some vs others and I dont put much trust in companies that say they have no fittament issues..

thanks for all the help

I know some people don't care for the BBK's, but i love mine. For the money i think they're great. I have one friend who's had his (long tubes and h pipe) for 5 years, and hasn't had any problems either.

As far as the x vs h thing, that's a matter of preference. Do you have a cat back right now?

Besides being a general pita on on these cars, they fit fine.

BTW, since you have the regular Magnaflows (not the Magnapacks correct?) i'd definantly do a o/r pipe.

O/R = Off road (not cats)

I have Magnaflows and I just ordered Mac LTs and Mac O/R H pipe from stangmods for a whooping total of $555 shipped. Great deal and they are going to sound great.

only afew important things.

1) if you drive a few miles DEFINITELY get the ceramic coating... the standard coating like MAC uses will rust after a year

2) if the flanges are separate where they bolt to the head.. they might be a little easier to get on and line up... but after they are hot they might be very very hard to reinstall later if u pulled them off (vs a solid flange like bbk)

3) only get the ball and socket type collector, you don't want flanged collectors

other than that a lot of personal pref
