Default On3Performance turbo kit

I heard some rumors that towards the end of december there coming out with a kit for the 05-09 mustang gts. They have kits out now for the 99-04 and fox bodies. From what I heard there decent for the price. My question is what do most turbos make on a stock s197 with say 8-10psi? I know from some people on the local boards they have the kits for the 99-04 and like them. For $1,800 bucks I'll try it even if I do have to fabricate some. Think with 10psi 450hp would be accomplished?

couple notes on the on3 kit, might want to wait until they release them for awhile, so they can work out the bugs. i heard they had bugs with both thier kits that were released to start with but it looks like they've all been resolved. also, consider getting the MasterPower turbo upgrade, its only like 269$ extra, and totally worth it for a known reliable turbo. with the 2v numbers from the graphs he supplied me with, are showing 10psi @ 440/496, with the 3v, im sure you'll have plenty extra at 8psi-10psi.

im not really too familiar with the s197's, or how much room there is, but on the 99-04's, you need a tubular front end and coilovers for it to fit. IIRC s197's already have coilovers. -- this adds to the overall cost of the 2v kit, as well as needing fuel pump, fuel injectors, tune, gauges, and when alls said and done, its probably closer to about $3000 - $3500. still, in my opinion a better option than the vortech (new that is, maybe not used) as you have more to grow if you plan on it, or decide to later. plus im just a fan of the way a turbo feels.

if you have questions, email chad at on3performance@aol.com. im not sure if he has a user name on this forum, but i know he does over at www.theturboforums.com, so you can contact him there too.

*note* i dont have this kit *yet* but im ordering it as soon as i get back from yet another round of training (bleh, gotta love the military)

Hmm sounds pretty good. Sounds like theres a lot more to the 2v kit. I have gotten ahold of him he said everything was left stock and he was really happy with the way it turned out. On 5psi the car made 382hp and 404tq he said. So I expect some big numbers on 10psi. He said all they used was a Kenne Bell BAP,Injectors and a MAF.
