What gear for superchargers?
#11
Hey all,
Well I took the car to Fastlane Motorsports to have the car tuned and meth injection installed. I was asked if the car had stock gears and told them that I was told the car has stock gears. Well after burning a chip for the car, we found out that the car has 4.10s after taking the car down the road and seeing how much the speedo changed.
I hope that made some sense to everyone. I knew what RPM I was running at 70 MPH and knew the speedo was correct because I had it checked with radar. So, after telling them that they set the gears to 4.10s and asked me to drive it to see if it was correct and it was.
So I assume this means the car has 4.10s and if that is the case it saves me some money from having to do it.

Well I took my car out today it was 40 degrees and the streets were dry so I said why not. I am changing my thoughts with this one. I love the tq.
OP - 4.10s will be perfect for 400 rwhp but would opt for 3.73s it is an all around best street gear. I am at 450 rwhp with 4.10s and the motor and blower simply run out of gear to fast and always feel like I am beating the **** out of my car. At some point will be droping gearing to 3.55s (when I build rearend) for longer shifts points and this is with a car being able to spin to 7 rpms.
