Cool Which supercharger should I use on my 05GT

I have a 2005 Mustang GT 4.6L, and which supercharger should I use. I'm looking to get 450 RWHP.

need more info to give you a good answer. whats your budget? what type of driving do you do (mostly street, mostly track, straight line, road course, etc)? doing the install yourself?

welcome to the forum. where in CA are you?

Mostly street, occasionaly track. I really want something that all around good. Something that will still let me pass california emission laws.

I'm from South Orange County

As far as my buget goes. I havn't decided yet. Let me know what you think. I'd perfer somthing that isn't going to give me issues. Do I need computer tuning? I'm having it done. But I want to educate myself first. What should I pay for instalation?

you can get a vortech for $3000ish but a roots type sc like whipple or KB will be more fun on the streets because they make boost lower in the rpm range but cost twice as much.

you will absolutely need computer tuning. if the shop that you have install it, doesnt have a dyno, go some where else. that way the same shop that installs it, tunes it. you dont want one shop installing it and doing a bad job then the tuner struggles with it only to tell you to go back to the first shop and complain. fuel upgrades will be necessary as well (injectors and fuel pump).
