So i'm gonna be goin prolly sometime late next week to go get my Magnaflow catback exhaust #15883 for my 08 GT/CS. It's the same one as the one on Americanmuscle.com but it's only $10 more at a local speed shop and they're gonna give me a good deal on install since i'm goin through them. so i was just wondering what kind of gains i should expect to see with everything else still stock. any ideas?

Not much if any. Others can correct me if I'm wrong of coarse. I put them on my car and rate them 5/10 in deep/loud dept.

i believe you are correct. iirc, when the guys on hp tv did a catback on a new mustang they picked up 8rwhp.

OP, why would you pay to have a couple mufflers installed? it takes about 20 min to do and takes no mechanical ability at all.

Not all of us have the knowledge or physical abilities. Professional installation works for me. And the only difference I saw was the stock pipe had a little crimp in it right where it goes over the axle, Magnaflow's is smooth over the axle. I was told 7hp. Works differently for me though as it will for you once the mod bug gets you.
