Question When are lean conditions dangerous?

I recently got boosted (Whipple) and have been checking the gauges. I have noticed in the first few minutes after starting (cold or warm, doesn't seem to matter), that when cruising with virtually no throttle at under 2000 RPMs, and at a vacuum of about 10lbs, the car goes into some lean high 15's to 16 A/F. I'm guessing that this isn't really an issue, but would just like confirmation and maybe some background on when lean conditions become an issue.
Thanks.

that sounds like normal readings. At WOT you want to watch for lean conditions but at cruising it will adjust and stay around 15

15-16:1 at idle and crusing is perfect. like stated above, its when in boost and other high load times is when you want it to run richer
