Gas smell and codes thrown after getting procharger installed?
I just got my 2002 GT back from the tuner the other day. They installed a P1SC Procharger along with the other necessities (too long to list) for such a job. They are a reputable tuner in our area, so I'm not necessarily worried that they have done a shady job, however after getting the car back and getting a feel for the new 135HP I picked up, it threw 3 codes and has a strong gas smell near the rear of the car. I had the codes read and the two I remember were (I should have written them down) were lean condition bank 1 and slow O2 sensor response time. I'm trying to get the tuner to get me back in this week, so hopefully they'll get it taken care of, but does anybody have an idea why I would be getting a lean code on bank and a O2 slow response (what does that mean) when the car smells like it is running so rich?

lean code doesnt mean the car is lean. the computer has a set parameter to follow to keep the afr good. it can deviate from those parameters by a certain percent. when the computer has to add more fuel then the parameters say are necessary, the computer throws the lean code. so basically its running ok but only because the computer is adding more fuel then it thinks it should. the slow o2 code could be causing the lean code. because the o2 is responding slowly, the computer may be seeing that as a sign the car is running lean thus dumping fuel causing the lean code and the rich smell

You may actually have a bad 02 sensor. If it's the original, it could be going bad. If it's an aftermarket, like a Bosch, they don't heat up as fast as the stock Ford pieces, and can cause that slow to respond code.
As for the heavy gas smell at the rear of the car, odds are all your emissions monitors were turned off in the tune, and the EVAP system is not purging the charcoal cannister at the rear of the car of built up gas fumes! This happened to me, and it wasn't until I needed to get the car through State vehicle inspection, that I found out what was going on. The EVAP cannister purge module is run off of vacumn from the intake manifold, so it's also possible that the vacumn line for it was disconnected or not attached.
