Default Vortech V1

Hey guys looks like I'll be hanging in this forum a little more. I just purchased a Vortech V 1 T trim S/C (along with a intercooler). Upon my redeployment to the states I will be slapping her on there 1st thing... I was just wondering what do you guys think about the V1? Is it a good S/C? Also I was just wondering with the mods in my sig along with the the V1, what do you guys think my RWHP will be. Thanks guys!! Any input would be greatly appreciated...

I'm sure others will chime in and all but in general a V1 T-Trim is going to give you as much hp as you want. If you had a built bottom end you could hit 700rwhp with it no problem. Problem is stock internals aren't good past ~450rwhp give or take. So alot of times you have to tone it down or just run low boost to stay below 450RWHP. But if you really wanted, you could put a 2.87 pulley on there see 15psi and put down 550-600rwhp. Here is a spreadsheet off of Vortech's website that breaks down each supercharger trim. http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/scspecsheet.php

http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...=SUPERCHARGERS Shows each supercharger Version so V1, V2, V3, etc and explains the differences between each.

got the t-trim installed man and I LOVE it. W/ a FMIC and a 3.33" pulley I was barley reaching 9 lbs of boost and made 457 to the wheels. The blower is made for high boost anyways, so build your motor and CRANK IT UP!!! haha. That is what im gonna do.

3.33" Pulley Making ~9 lbs of boost (457wrhp/411rwtq)

3.6" Pulley Making ~7.5 lbs of boost (408 rwhp/376 rwtq) (told him to tune it "down" as much as possible)
*ambient air temps are 98!!!

Dude I did not know that was your car.. As soon as I decided to go with the V1 I searched for sounc clips.. Yours kept popping up and I was like wow same color and everything... I will be really dissapointed if I dont get to at least 400 rwhp.. Eventhough we have preety much the same set up do you think I should go with the 3.3 pulley or the 3.6? Have you been to the track if so what are your times? Also do you have gears? Do you think with the V1 the 410's might be to steep? Thanks dude, nice car!!

i think any form of forced induction, besides nitrous, plus 4.10's would be a challenge lol. it might be ok because its a centri and not a roots type, but i would wait and see how it acts, but i'd imagine you'd want 3.73's or lower(number wise)

I have 4.10s in my 418 hp auto and boy is it fun...haha with the centri its not too bad actually IMO, but for a manual car I think 3.73's would be good

Yeah I'm going to see how it goes... I plan on (next Mar) dumping about a grand on just suspension mods. Before I make any decision I'll see how the car feels after the suspension upgrades..
