i just picked up a turbo kit for my 87 5.0(converted to maf)..its a 60-1 turbonetics turbo...it already has a turbonetics wastegate and a blitz blow off valve. Currently my car just has a F303 cam, Holley systemax intake manifold and a 70tb(stock bottom end..117k) Now how much psi i should i run? and what size injectors?

get some 42 pound injectors, youll need to get a maf calibrated for them. as far as the boost goes, depends on the kind of power you want to make. id start off around 9-10psi and if you dont like the power it makes, add a few psi. be sure to upgrade to a 255lph fuel pump.

i was thinking som 42s but i wasn't sure and i know i need the maf calibrated for the injectors. 9-10psi? would that be safe?....thanx for the help

the turbo looks very small...its a turbonetics T04B-H 2-3/4 looks like a older style turbonetics. Would that turbo be fine? Or should i upgrade turbo? i was thinking a Master Power 70mm?

60mm is pretty small. i run twin 57mm. was that turbo/kit running on another stang? try the 60mm out and see how it does but mp70 is a great turbo if you do upgrade

yea the kit came off a 91 notch...its a custom kit. The guy said he was running #12 with the kit...the car had gt40ps and a cobra manifold with that turbo...i think I'm just going to upgrade to a mp70
