Im in the process of a supercharged motorbuild. Im looking to make around high 400rwhp. Im trying to stay under 4k for the s/c kit. Whats my best option. Im basically deciding between paxton and vortech. I can get a brand new paxton kit for 3300. Im not opposed to used kits. Ive found some used vortech and paxton kits in the low 2ks. What do youguys think i should go with and why?

All i ever ownd' is vortech i have a v2 @ 13lbs power is there when i need it ....and lets not forget the sweet whistle while cruisin'..

I was torn between a Vortech or a Procharger. Decided to go with the Vortech...Just couldn't resist the whistle man!

you may be the first person i've heard of that is building their motor, and only wants hp in the 400's lol. a very reachable goal. aren't vortech and paxton the same? like the same owner? vortech's are the most popular, and most likely cheapest, and it's proven, so i'd go with that if i were doing it. also, i'd stay away from procharger. there's 3 vortech stangs and 2 procharger stangs in my area, and both the procharger guys have had issues with the seals in them, and they both currently blew up. vortech's still runnin strong tho lol.

+1, but if you decide you really want the blower, go with the one you can get the best deal on. both companies you listed are both very reputable and youll be happy with either

okay thanks guys. Im staying away from the turbo because of the cost of everything. Its gonna be more efficent, being a college student, to just get a blower. I was already leaning towards the vortech. Thanks again

Better not be dropping those extra student loans on it! 4k blower will end up costing 12k when paid off.
