Default got my new intercooler installed!!!

and what a difference. Its a Procharger intercooler. I replaced the CXRacing one I had on before. I was only seeing 9.5 lbs with the cxracing and a 2.95 pulley. I felt that it was being way too restrictive and so I swapped in a Procharger 2 core, and wow! The IAT was only a little higher but it was 90 out yesterday when I was running around. I also saw 14 lbs boost now, woohoo!! I definitely think that intercooler was the problem. Looks like I will be getting to the dyno either at the end of the week or early next week so I will finally have new numbers to post. I cant wait! quick pic, little bluryk lol.

well, the tuning was going good this morning. Pegged my MAF they put on a Diablo Mafia on it and car started kicking *** again. Got the car up to 402 rwhp, not sure about the rwtq... then the maf stopped responding and they are currently trying to figure out whats wrong. Felt good about the hp considering its 101* here today and they said they could pull a little more, safely out of it. Hope to have the car back tomorrow.

Default update

got the good word today. the maf wasnt dead, loose intercooler pipes were causing the car to suck in air and making the flutter. Car was running good again then the fuel pump was having problems around 6k. They are currently installing a KB Boost a Pump to fix that problem. I should have the car back with the final numbers tomorrow, wOOt!!!

Got my car back today. I have a "Street" tune that let the car put down 400.5 rwhp and 388.8 rwtq. I like this conservative tune since the car is my DD. Im very excited about these numbers since the dyno graph shows that the air temp durning that pull was over 100*. I was also given a "Race" tune for the car that is more aggressive then the street tune. Its a nice ease of mind to know that the intercooler will help keep those IAT down. Along with the tune, the car got a Diablo Mafia and a KB BAP. Now we just need a few nice 70 degree days.

Mine still have a bypass valve set up. I am using a Vortech Mini Race Bypass. I love it.
