Default paxton/vortech 8" crank pulley

i have a 6.78" crank pulley and want to upgrade to a 8".....

problem is the s/c belt with the 6.78" pulley is already really close to my water pump pulley. i really think the belt on the 8" is going to hit...unless 8" is spaced different. idk

has any one have any experience with this on a fox body 5.0

the sc belt should be in front of the main belt so clearance should be fine. any pics of how it is now?

I thought about going with the 93 cobra water pump pulley... But it's not the part were the belt sits... It's right up next to the bolts of theater pump pulley pics later today

you have a picture of the sc belt tensioner? one not so zoomed in?

the reason i ask is because i remember when i had a v1 the idle pulley bolted to a bracket. that bracket had two holes in it. if you attach the pulley to the lower bolt in that bracket, itll lower the point the belt runs up to. this may give you a little more clearance. id also like to see how close the belt is to touching itself as it wraps around the tensioner pulley
