HO Vortech V-3 Bogging ???????
OK…
I had a Vortech HO system installed in my 2007 auto GT a few weeks ago and I have been having some bogging issues.
It’s really strange… it does not happen all the time, but when it does happen, it seems to be happen when you are just starting to step on the gas peddle, and / or right before the car wants to shift up into the next gear / or when the car has load on it.
However, if you put your foot in it a little it kind of’ falls flat then will take off and run like a raped ape.
The best way I could explain it is like the car feels like it’s about to run outta’ gas. That being said… I’m kind of thinking it may have something to do with the fuel pumps.
Also…. I’m not sure if this has anything remotely to do with it or not… but since I had it S/C, the fuel gauge has not been reading correctly either.
I have had two tunes done - by two different shops, and of course it never happens when it’s on the Dyno.
The kit is making really good power. Had to set the rev limiter at 6200rpm’s because even with only 18 degrees of timing it was making almost 12lbs of boost, and putting out 467 rwhp @ 6400 rpm’s
Anyone have any ideas
