Hi, i just bought an 03 Gt 5-speed transmission. I was looking into getting an exhaust for it. Something to make it sound like a beast! lol. I was told that a slp loudmouth catback was the way to go, any suggestions? Should i get x pipes or h pipes or anything like that? Now i dont want anything that will be too obnoxious, i just want something that will have that classic muscle sound, something that really rumbles. Also something that sounds good while idling too! thanks for the help. Kyle.

The SLP's are the way to go if you like their sound.
Go onto youtube and search for exhaust clips, there are TONS of them out there.
I have an off road X pipe and borla stingers and they are by far my favorite sound out there.

slps are going to be stupid loud. i really like borlas/xpipe but thats more rasp, you said "classic muscle car sound" which usually means h pipe and blowmasters. just go on youtube like said and listen to exhaust and pick something you like...

It's all a matter of preference. I love my SSS Terminators. Loud like SLP 1's, but deeper like Borla Stingers. Listen to the 100's of clips then make a decision.

get the SLP if you want your neighbors to hate you lol

The neighbors won't hate your SLP exhaust until you add an o/r midpipe.

Living in a heavily populated neighborhood I can tell you, my neighbors hate me!

I'm running a Pypes o/r X and the Pypes Pype Bomb (similar to the SLP's). Very, very loud.

Also considering those SSS catback. More I read it has the low deep sound without the annoying rasp and being too loud. Take a look at them.

I run SLP longtubes, SLP offroad x pipe, SLP loudmouth 1 catback with a high stall converter....talk about loud
