Vortech Non-intercooled??
At some point in the future I'll be adding a blower to the car, and further down the line running meth. Buying a non-intercooled kit makes sense as far as price, and I can easily have the discharge tube modified to run a blow-thru setup with a Pmas and an open race bypass. I'm contemplating saving the trouble of doing an intercooler down the line and just running meth. Any opinions on this?

Well either way i'll eventually be running meth. I'm just wondering if i should bother running an intercooler on a meth setup. It would save a little bit of fabrication to just run it non intercooled.

I have a 1998 cobra with a vortex. I just pulled my intercooler off to run a meth kit, my tuner told me you can run both, but you'll see more gaines by removing the intercooler. Plus once you reach higher HP the boost going in the cooler does not equal the boost coming out. Also, by removing the cooler you don't have to worry about it popping and sending coolant in your intake. I went from 470 to 510 RWHP by adding the meth.
