Trick Flow Nitrous kit
I converted my car from EFI to carb and have the Trick Flow (made by Nitrous express) kit designed for the trick flow R intake manifold. Nitrous express makes a "conversion" kit with a new base plate & jets for $180.00. There are a lot of other companies that make base plates and Jet kits for less (Edelbrock is $115.00) As long as the jetting is correct and the fittings are the same, I can't imagine any reason why I would need the Nitrous Express kit. Am I missing anything here?

The main things different between certain brand kits are the jet design!
The jet shanks are different diameters and wont swap out!
Example NOS jets wont fit a NX plate and arent calibrated the same!
If i remember correctly NOS jets are smaller than the NX plate recess, and the NX jets are bigger than the NOS plate recess!
There for one wont fit and one will wobble on the port, possibly misaligning and causing a leak!
