What do you guys do that are running O/R x pipes and no mufflers?

Just pay a friend that inspects to do it for you?

Will it pass without cats but with mufflers?

I could be wrong but if you dont have a cel you should be fine. Most if not all handhelds are capable of taking care of that for you.

I just had the issue with my car also. It has an o/r h with mil's. I took it to a guy that inspects all of my dads company trucks. Basically you have to know someone or find someone too lazy to look under the car. My car has stock mufflers so it isn't extremely loud. Where in nc do you live I might can hook you up.

Shift

An exhaust with straight pipes, muffler deletes, or no cats can yield problems with checks from the DMV, police if pulled over, or the general trading in of the car (since it is technically illegal). Catless pipes are meant for "Off Road" use or track use only. To be safe i'd keep your cats and mufflers. I have Corsa Exhausts and X pipe with cats making it a legal setup. It it loud enough, and sounds fantastic. Don't have to make it illegal to be good.

20 bucks and tell the guy its stock. IMO its stupid they do all that. i pay for all the tax BS and to do the customizations on the car, ill do what i want.
