Question i wanna build a turbo 5.0 DD thats reliable

well i have a 1991 foxbody that's my weekend warrior/DD and im thinking about turbo charging it but i want reliable kit and a non grenade motor waiting to blow up. ON3 is a cheap kit is it any good? and what do i need to do to my motor for it to be a reliable DD?

there is nothing you can do to a stock motor to make it stronger. the block it self literally splits in half when you hit a certain hp/rpm. you can fill all the coolant passages with cement but with no water in the motor it will only be good for about 5, maybe 10min at a time. then youll have to shut if off and let it cool

HP is expensive

Dont say that , my car has been over heating so i popped off my e fan and put back on the stock (but haven't gotten a chance to run it)

You can run it with low boost on the stock shortblock without any issues. I wouldn't advise searching for 400+ hp numbers & expect it to stay reliable for long. I agree with luckythirteen13 on the On3 kits
