Question i wanna build a turbo 5.0 DD thats reliable

well i have a 1991 foxbody that's my weekend warrior/DD and im thinking about turbo charging it but i want reliable kit and a non grenade motor waiting to blow up. ON3 is a cheap kit is it any good? and what do i need to do to my motor for it to be a reliable DD?

1991 mustang 5.0 BBK CAI, 3:55 posi 31 spline axles, frame connectors, strut bar, thermactor trans, aftermarket exhaust, 70mm TB, short shifter.

1993 mustang 1968 429 with 71 PI heads, isky bracket racing cam, demon 850 carb, C6 trans, Curry 9" 4:10's moser axles.

but what do i need to do to my motor to make it indestructible?

there is nothing you can do to a stock motor to make it stronger. the block it self literally splits in half when you hit a certain hp/rpm. you can fill all the coolant passages with cement but with no water in the motor it will only be good for about 5, maybe 10min at a time. then youll have to shut if off and let it cool

HP is expensive

Dont say that , my car has been over heating so i popped off my e fan and put back on the stock (but haven't gotten a chance to run it)

89 gt with pullys,k&n style intake,full exhaust flowmasters o/r h pipe mac 50 state legal headers, lca's,lowering springs kyb shocks,1 bbk subframe,3.73 gears,some weight removed,

its not when the mustang is loud that you need to worry about , when it goes quiet then you should worry

You can run it with low boost on the stock shortblock without any issues. I wouldn't advise searching for 400+ hp numbers & expect it to stay reliable for long. I agree with luckythirteen13 on the On3 kits
