i have an '07 4.0L v6. im planning on running an X pipe into some SLP's to do a true dual. i want to get a good sound but id rather not get a ticket either. is the SLP Loudmouth II above the legal decibel rating in FL? also, i currently only have enough money to buy the SLP's (as i am a full time student), is it possible to clamp on one of the mufflers to my stock 2.5 inch pipe?

Go to a muffler shop and you will pay for a cat-back less then $500, in California. Today I got the flow master 40 series on my 2011 and paid $342.44 with my pick of tip.

I'm runing dual Borlas with an X pipe. Sound is great but they have a drone at about 2000 rpm under load. Will have to try to get rid of when I have the time.

I have an 08 GT and just put some SLP Loudmouths on. They are bad ***. I haven't done the H pipes yet ,and the SLP sound great. I have the h pipes and will def install when I get a couple of hours to do it. You can bolt the new axle backs to your stock pipes though.

Aren't the stock pipes on the GT H pipes anyway?

I heard that they call it an x/h pipe hybrid, if you look at it, even on the v6, it looks like an x pipe that is open flowing on the inside like an h pipe.
