500 ft.lb turbo v6
I'm sure someone on here has over powered their v6 to the breaking point. I'm trying to do a 500 ft.lb of torque turbo upgrade to my 2000 v6, anyone have any suggestions on where I need to start looking for concern parts? Such as crank, conn rods, wrist pins, head bolts, bearings. any one out there running this much power safely? Intent is to do a pre turbo dump valve to allow for daily driving as well.

Block is the same between the Super Coupe and the Mustang 3.8L. It got a lower compression set up with a forged bottom end.
Nobody has ever tanked a block or stock crank in the V6 Mustang - so those are good to go.
I'd step up to the 4.2L crank if you are building. You'll get more tq out of the longer stroke. I'd go forged rods and pistons, big cam and lots of head work.
What are you thinking for intake? Single or twin turbo set up? Fuel system?
