Default Header Suggestion and Exhaust Leak Question

Hey guys,

I am looking at getting a new pair of shorty headers for the 90 stang. I have been looking for a few days, but wanted some actually input. Shorty headers of equal length really worth it?, my car is just a weekend driver not for track purpose or drag. I have had exhaust leak problems ever since I dropped the motor back in. I put in new header gaskets, that did nothing, so I am thinking it is the ball and socket connection. I have tried to pin point the location of the noise, but it has been very difficult to find. I plan on just taking the H pipe off when I do the new headers, but just wanted to ask if there is a gasket that can be used with the ball and socket or any other options. Thanks everyone.

Hey, I didn't even drive the car 500 miles before doing the gaskets or after the new gaskets. I probably have put 200 miles on the car. Doesn't going long tube involve pulling the motor off the mounts? I do not have that capability with my current garage location. Long tube headers involve what new plumbing after them? There are already after market unequal length headers on it but they came with the car and look cheap.
