Ok I have a 91 hatch and 94-95 long tube headers but before I put them on has anyone done this before? I've had tons of mustangs but I've never tryed put sn stuff on a fox will they work?

I think the difference is that the 94-95 long tubes are spread a little further apart than the fox body. You may have to use an O/R h or x pipe for the 94-95. I used a set of fox body long tubes on my 94 and had some clearance issues at the t5 trans where the clutch fork is. I had to flatten one of the primaries to clear the trans. My headers that I used came with an h pipe designed for the foxbody and I had to cut the cross pipe and put a sleeve in to make it wider. There has to be a difference because when you order long tubes the ones for 94-95 say they only fit those years and visa versa for the fox headers.

Yea the ones I bought were for a fox body but I made them work on my 94, of course the fitment issue may have been the fact that they were cheap obx header. I don't have much experience with the big market headers like mac or bbk

Just about all long tubes cause interference with the steering shaft. Not all but most its usually only just rubbing a little, most pple are able to ding the primary and get away with it some pple have been known to shim the engine up using washers. I had to ding my primary where it contacted the steering. the correct fix is to get an after market steering shaft with out a rag joint in it. I think the company is called flaming river that most use
