I'm in the process of getting rid of my JBA Cat4ward Shorty Headers and will be purchasing a set of Long Tube Headers very shortly. I'm on a very strict budget (can't spend over $630 because other mods recently purchased) and found a set of JBA Long Tube Headers on CJ Pony which include the 02 sensor extensions.

Is it possible to modify my current x pipe into a shorty x pipe??? I've looked at some of the JBA shorty X pipes they have and they look "similar" to the x pipe I'm running now, just shorter. I know of a good exhaust shop in my area that can do this for a reasonable price. Just wanted to see if anyone has done this modification before or seen someone else do it...
