Default What do you guys prefer for exhaust??

I currently have a bassani side exit exhaust (was on the car when I bought it), it sounds good but not like I want it to sound... I found a flowmaster setup on the local craigslist for 75...includes polished tailpipes too. But was thinking of putting dumps on it till I get a cobra rear bumper since my car is a gt. What do you guys think? 75 a good deal or should I stick with my current setup?

That's a good deal, but wouldn't dump it. Run the tailpipes, the drone with dumps is really bad, well it was on my car with Flows.

He said he would take 50! I can't run the tailpipes cause of my gt rear bumper...not too worried about drone since it's not a daily driver

Am I mistaken, or can the hangars just be lowered slightly to fit the GT bumper? I think I've seen a gt bumper running regular tailpipes.

I will try to find a pic of one...I would rather run the tailpipes rather than dumps

Found a pic on ebay of one with pipes (this pic isn't mine, just posting it to illustrate)

As far as sound goes, on the 00' that I used to own, I was running a steeda catback, with a 2 catylitic converter H-pipe, along with JBA shorty headers. Now, I'm also aware that all steeda did was stamp their logo onto Borla mufflers, at least, that's what I've read, and the sound seems to be similar, and so far that has been my favorite sound.

I'm aware that the firing order is different on the 302's, but who knows, it may still sound good.

Personally though, I'm a fan of an understated exhaust. I am not someone who thinks louder is better, so if that's what your after, I'm sure you can probably just ignore what I said.
