Cost and gas mileage stopped me from getting the V8. The V6 is really everything I wanted but the V8 would've offered more thrills. All that must be done is increasing the thrill of acceleration. The cost doesn't matter too much. I will just wait until I have that much.

So, cost and gas mileage stopped you from getting a V8. But now you want to spend money and try to turn your V6 into a V8...which puts you right back to where you were originally with not wanting a V8 for the gas mileage and cost.
It's a full circle. But you definately need to have a budget in mind. You could easily spend over $10k.

This is my baby for the next 10-12 years, maybe longer, and I wanted to add to its' performance as I go without the desire to match the performance of a V8. I wanted to start by improving its acceleration but didn't know where to look at putting my money
