Help with a Procharger P-1SC!?!?
Ok, this pesky thing has me scratching my head a little bit. I have it in a 2003 GT, they say it puts out around 8-10 PSI boost. When I stand on this thing its only giving me 5 PSI....ok, maybe pully size has something to do with this?? I popped the hood and was looking at the unit and low and behold I see the rubber piece of pipe that connects to the inlet side of the blower is disconnected. Could this be my magic problem of why I'm losing boost pressure?
There is a little silver valve, (I believe they call it a bypass valve) that's connected to a maybe 1 1/2" rubber hose that comes into the inlet tube, is that run off the pressure of the air that the blower is sucking in?
And for the life of me I cant get that dam rubber elbow to stay on the inlet of the supercharger, there is pretty much nothing for the hose clamp to grab on coming from the supercharger and not to mention the angle of that rubber hose is assanine
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, I want to get my baby running at top boost......thanks again

ok I think I might have this mess figured out.....I hope. after doing a little reading I found that the bypass valve that is included with these kits are complete sh*t. I ordered a pro-flo one to replace it, I also found that the area that all the vacuum lines are tee'd into which is the intake plenum, shouldn't be. I'm going to relocate the lines to a different area, I have heard either the break booster or the A/C. Please correct me if I am wrong or if anyone has a better spot please share, I am all ears. Also I got the inlet hose fixed so that's rock solid now. My only other option if the rest of that doesn't work is to change the blower pulley to a 3.4 pulley. As always thanks for your knowledge and sharing it.
