I put 40 series flowmasters on my GT and left everything else the same, and I am very pleased, although, Im looking into a x-pipe after reading these forums.

go for it..I had 40 series Flows with a Magna O/R xpipe and it sounded sweet.........I exchanged the Flows for Spintechs though, they are more freeflowing while still keeping the V8 rumble alive..

Depends on who you ask and who is willing to do the research.

I've done the research and Magnaflow is the best flowing system out there. They are nice and loud outside the car, but they don't have that nasty drone that Flowmaster and other brands have.

I love the way my Magnaflows sound....I've yet for someone in person to tell me they don't like it.

Sorry Dan but I dont like them, I learned by trial and error .........Spintechs are the way to go, no droning and still sound like the flows.....

Someone listens to his sig huh????? Sound can be an apperace mod. You APPEAR to have more power than you do cause your loud, like flowmasters and an h-pipe sound loud and but don't make nearly as much power as other systems.

X-pipe good, flowmaster bad, spintech.....haven't heard a descent clip yet, magnaflow kicks a$$.
H-pipe with flows sounds ok, flows with x-pipe sound bad.
Keep the cats for legality, lose um to be louder.
