Depends on who you ask and who is willing to do the research.

I've done the research and Magnaflow is the best flowing system out there. They are nice and loud outside the car, but they don't have that nasty drone that Flowmaster and other brands have.

I love the way my Magnaflows sound....I've yet for someone in person to tell me they don't like it.

2.5 inch piping is the way to go. X pipe and H pipe is just preference, X is a little bit more power. H is more sound. Just as in Flowmaster is better for sound, magnaflow for performance. I have an H pipe with an American Thunder catback (no cats) and it sounds mean, but I'm changing to magnaflows with x pipe for performance.

First B.B.K. is a brand. If you want a nice sound, but not to loud. You might want to look into a set of 3 chamber flow masters. 2 chambers are a little louder but the 3 chamber might be what you want. If you mess with the H-pipe. You will want to go with something that has highflow cats. Cause if you take the cats off and go with a off-road set up. Your car will be alot louder, even with the 3 chambers on there.

Well the problem lies in the fact that midpipe with cats is way expensive. X pipe is the way to go, and you're really not cheating anyone when you go with an offroad X pipe, because your engine is producing the same type and amount of polution, the cats just limit the output. You just put the old H pipe back on when you go to emmissions testing, and its really not that big of a deal.
