Nitrous : Subwoofer question (might be stupid)
I have a question, that might be rather dumn, but here goes...
I was just thinking about it last night, but what concerns/problems might you run into having a nitrous setup AND a big subwoofer in your trunk?
I wasn't sure what the added vibratrion from the sub would do to the nitrous setup.
Would you need to constantly check your connections and make sure nothing vibrated lose?
What might this do to a nitrous gauge? (could it un-calibrate it)
I'm still in the planning/designing phases on a lot of the aspects of my car, and this concern popped into my head. I've never known anyone to have both a sub and nitrous in the trunk, and I really would have no idea what the sub would do to the nitrous.
Thanks for any info/ideas/whatever...

i agree, dont think it will do anything. if you are worried about the vibration ruining your gauge, you can always get an electric gauge and mount it on the dash

i don't think your sub is gonna do any damage that wouldn't happen in a 7 second car.

I'm not sure if I'm actually going to put a sub in my trunk or not... but it was just a side thought...
Thanks for the info!

If you want true speed you would not want subs in your car anyway because it uses up hp to run the subs and it adds more lbs.

As long as the subs and box are not going to slide into the bottle, you'llbe fine.
I put 3 alpine 10's in a civic for a customer of mine, and we mounted his bottle in the spare tire well with a giant plexi honda emblem as a cover. Looked great and the car still ran 11's with sound and full interior. I manage a car audio shop and the guy who owned the car owned a import performance shop.
