Default Borla Stinger/Bassani X pipe install

Question...

Since I'm getting entirely new exhaust system, how do I go about installing it? Since I'm removing even the stock midpipe, is it still going to be necessary to cut the old catback? What kind of tools/equipment am I going to need? Everybody always says how easy it is to install midpipe/catback, but I never see any real instructions. The system gets in on the 20th, I'd like to install it right away. I have no jacks/jackstands, so obviously I need those. Hacksaw? What else?

Ok, so....how about a 2 1/4 ton jack w/two jackstands?

Can I remove the catback w/x-pipe without cutting, or do I need to seperate them then remove each individually? Any modifications to the Bassani X-pipe before I put it on? The Borla?

as far as i konw, this should be just like any otehr

if you have a life, excellent, if just jack stands, fine

remove the mid pipe from the headers, ,, wait, hang on

you'll have to cut the old mufflers off, break loose the bolts and everything from the midpipe to the headers, then put the new things on

its not a complex job, i didnt do it myself cause the jacks were crappy and it was cold, but with more patience than i have you should get it on your own

Thanks. I know you are supposed to cut off the old cat when installing a new, just didn't know if I had to do it when I'm putting a new midpipe as well.

I'll buy a hacksaw tomorrow.
