#1 How long have you had your Flowmasters? Mine got louder after about 6 weeks or so, too loud now.
#2 Your tips make a HUGE differance. If you want loud, your tips have to be like a megaphone. Try 3" or 3.5" tips and as long as possable like 18" or 20" I went from 2.5" tips to 3" tips and it made it very loud.
#3 Headers make a HUGE differance in sound and performance. A nice set of shorties unless your going with S/C or turbo.
Hope this gets you to where you want.<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley14.gif border="0">

Tips don't make it louder unless you have turn-downs. That's 100% false. It will change the 'tone' ever so slightly... In order for the tips to work like a megaphone they would have to be tapered to the muffler outlet and expand outward.
