Default Magnaflows are on! Still

Just got the magnaflows installed a day ago, and now that my "tincan" flowmasters are gone, I can hear a fairly large leak coming from the drivers side connection of the manifold and xpipe. My question is, will this leak seal up if I put High Temp Form-A-Seal on the connection?I just had the x pipe installed, so its new, and its not coming fromany of the welds of the pipe.Any help is appreciated..

I got the same thing but it is only minor. I haven't gone under there yet because of the crappy weather but I hope to saturday. I think my problem is when I tightened up the X-pipe I didn't tighten them evenly on the driver side. Meaning I threaded one nut on till it was almost tight and then did the other one. I should have run them both up a little at a time. If the coupling is cocked you won't get even pressure all around the joint and as the system flexes it will cause a leak. I will let you know what happans.

BTW I dropped my car off for some work at the dealership. Trying to get them to fix the 1/2 grind still. They havea TSB out for a clutch pedal adjusment, but that is only for shifting in to 1st or reverse. But know I have the owner involved and he seems adament about fixing the problem. Hopefully soon!!

Actually, they sound very good. Not as loud as I expected, but when you put the pedal down, they come to life.

You don't think they are loud in the car because they don't resonate the same way your Flowmasters did, let someone else drive away in your car and you will be like

I know what you mean no2, but I kinda like the tone. No doubt, they are not as loud inside as my flows, but like Dan said, they are louder out of the car than inside. They are just down to business while the flowmaster sounds like its doing everything it can to keep all the chambers in place.
