Default H/X PIPE???????

I was just on mustangexhaust.com listening to sound clips and they have sound clips for H and X pipes and Cat Backs......I want the Flowmaster American Thunder series and that is only listed in Cat Backs......is there much difference with an H or X pipe......if so why do they only have the American Thunder Flowmasters in the Cat Back? I need your guys help cuz I don't know what I am doing.

Default H/X PIPE???????

my freind has a bassani x-pipe, mac flowpaths. it sounded meaner than my 98gt. that one had a hypertech h and 2 chamber catback it sounded like a stock car. i had cops pull me over asking me what the hell was on my car and can will there sound the same.go back to m/exhaust. com, find the 2001 cobra launching instant hardon there. try it.

Flowmasters will definatly sound better with the H- pipe

H-pipe better sounding, low end performance

X-pipe better high end breathing (performance)

Default H/X PIPE???????

h and x pipe are after your headers andare part of your exhaust and are how they sound in shapeand a cat back comes after it, cat back refers to the exhaust from the catalytic converts to your tail pipes

ok so now im confused...

i thought X was all around better for performance and H was for sound only really...

so H is for low end performance and X is for High end?

and High end like highway driving?
